Cupcake Boxes are a Great Party Gift

Posted by GuestPoster on November 17, 2010 in Decoration Ideas with No Comments

With the recent upsurge in popularity of cupcakes bakeries are finding it absolutely necessary to have a good supply of cupcake boxes for multiple sales and individual cupcake boxes, which are used for designer cupcakes. These boxes must keep the cupcake intact during transit to the home and must keep crumbs from falling all over the car if the customer decides to eat a cupcake in the car.

Using clear individual boxes is the better idea if you make very unique and individualized cupcakes. You can decorate each cupcake differently and package it in a clear box to sell, keeping it fresh and sanitary. Cupcakes can go along with seasons or holidays or special events–there is no limit to how creative you can be. You can display them on a table at a farmer’s market or in your bakery case. Try and work out a deal with some restaurants that do not already sell cupcakes. Talk to a wedding consultant and see if you can get on her referral list for cupcakes. You can increase your business this way.

Cupcake boxes can be recycled or reused. Ask your regular customers to bring in a used cupcake box and give them a discount or a punch card for the 10th cupcake free. This will help the environment and save you some money in box expenses. If you have your name printed on the boxes you will be getting free advertising as they carry the box from their car to your shop.

Or you can make your own boxes with card stock. This allows you to choose the color and size of your box. You can enlist your children’s  help to decorate the box. They will love the thought of decorating for your business and customers will love the homemade touch. This option has the added benefit of letting you make just the amount of boxes you want. You are not required to purchase a big lot of plastic pre-made boxes.

Posted by GuestPoster on October 15, 2010 in Decoration Ideas with No Comments

Before you pick out color schemes, decorating themes, or select new furniture ask yourself these 6 simple questions. These questions are designed to help you simplify the decorating process and get your mind focused on the task at hand.

Will I be using this room frequently or occasionally?

This question helps you understand the amount of money you should spend on this particular room. If you decide to decorate your guest room, that is only used occasionally, you would not need to spend as much as you would on your own master bedroom. In other words, don’t run off and buy two large black wall clocks so your guest can tell time no matter where they look. You get the idea.

How will I make use of this room?

This question seems easy, but can give you a lot of insight into your decorating project. Map out your room. If decorating your master suite, visually map out where your bed will be positioned and where your dresser will be. If you have a vanity in this room where will it be placed after the remodel?

What is my favorite color and how can it be used in this room?

Many people make the mistake of throwing their favorite color on the walls of their home. Sometimes this works, but often time’s homeowners regret this impulsive move. Instead find small ways to incorporate your favorite color through art, flowers, and other accent pieces. For example, kitchen sink taps come in wide assortment of color and style that you can use to add your favorite color to the kitchen.

Where do I feel happiest and how can I incorporate that place in this room?

This is an important question. What inspires you? Where are you happiest? For many people the smell and feel of the great outdoors makes them joyful. In this case, bring in natural smells through scented candles and surround yourself with the feeling of nature. Answering this question will make you enjoy your time in this room all the more.

Do not rush into decorating. Take your time to plan the room out thoroughly. Ask yourself how often you will use the room, what is the purpose of this room, how you can use your favorite colors in the space, and what makes you happiest. By doing this, you will have a beautiful room that you enjoy spending time in and cut down on unnecessary mistakes in the process.
